Start working for DEEL in less than 15 days from today
Let's talk about the application process
(and exactly how much time it will take you)
Once you've chosen your role, you'll have to complete the next steps:
1. Initial test (time: 12 minutes). We use your LinkedIn profile to limit the amount of times you can take this test.
2. Selfie-video (avg. time: 5 minutes). You'll have to record a selfie-video answering the questions that pop up on your screen. This helps us assess your english skills and learn a bit more about you. Don't worry about looking professional, wear a normal t-shirt and you're good.
3. Technical test (time: 2 hours of uninterrupted time). This is an in-depth technical test to ensure you meet the technical requirements the role has. You only have to complete this test once instead of having to take different tests every time you apply to jobs individually.
4. Final interview (avg. time: 60 minutes). Internal interview with our team to learn a bit more about you, what you're looking for, and make sure the company is the right fit for you.
That's it. Yes, it's that simple. Once you've passed all stages we send you over as an official candidate and begin the hiring process. You should be getting hired within 7 days after we send you as a candidate.
Since Linus isn't here to say we're amazing, we'll just let other devs do the talking...
Daniel Santamaria
"Usually when you get tested you get some weird algorithm thing that feels like a 5th semester Computer Science exam. They ask for stuff you don't use in real-life.
Flatworld's quiz tested me on Javascript, React, HTML, and CSS. Things you use in real-life.
I immediately thought: "Okay, these guys know what they are doing"...
I got hired within a month."
Alexandre Rondon
"I was a bit worried it would take a long time for me to get a new job since I was using tech that isn't very popular today, but it took me around 1 month to get hired.
It took about 3 weeks to get to the final interview with the company. The next day they replied with the offer.
Every phase of the process made me think "Wow, they are really serious about finding good people". It made me feel that it wasn't just another random recruitment company."
Karol Swieca
"I think I got hired in a month or even 3 weeks."
"The whole process was really impressive. The first 3-4 stages were asynchronous and they were in my opinion really good at getting the top scorers.
For me it was like: "if someone planned this actual process to look like this, he has an idea about remote work".
It was a really fresh process, I had never encountered something like this."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Why apply through Flatworld instead of going directly to DEEL?
Applying to DEEL directly means applying on your own and having to fight for their attention when hundreds of other devs are applying too.
All of that with no guarantee of you actually getting the job. It's time consuming, exhausting, and honestly, inefficient.
If you apply through Flatworld and pass, you will get fast-tracked to the top of Deel's CTO candidate list since we're partnering up for their team scaling.
At the end of the day it is 100% your decision. We have had many developers applying directly, not getting and answer, and then applying through Flatworld and getting hired. It's your choice.

Q: Is it free? What's in it for you guys?
Yes, Flatworld is 100% free for candidates. You will never have to pay us for anything.
The way we work is we strike deals with the companies you're applying to and the pay us every time we get them new hires.
This is why we're incentivised to make the process as simple and high-quality as possible.
Q: Do I need good English skills?
Yes - since you'll be working remotely, we need to make sure our candidates meet a certain level of English.
This is why we request a video recording from you. It's a simple way for us to tell how you communicate in English.
Q: What happens if I need help at some stage? Is this all automated?
As soon as you pass the first test, a team member will take care of reaching out to you and guiding you through the process.
You can message us ANY time via intercom or email (candidates@flatworld.co).
We'll get back to you asap :)

ROLE SALARY
At this point you're probably thinking... "yeah, it all sounds great, but what the H*ll is Flatworld?"
In a nutshell: we help developers find fully remote roles.
What makes us amazing for developers is that instead of applying to jobs individually, you simply apply to our platform and we take care of matching you to a company and getting you hired.
That means we go out and show the companies you're the right fit for them.
We will also hold your hand through the paperwork and hiring process so all you have to do is complete our application, show up to some interviews, and lay back while we get you the job.
It really is that simple... so simple that if Linus was a remote dev looking for a job he'd be like:
Now that you know we're the easiest option for getting hired quickly...
